Town North Bank, N.A. Announces New Officers

DALLAS – February 28, 2008 – Town North Bank, N.A. announced the promotion of three officers plus the addition of three new officers to their staff.

Marie Sciortino is senior vice president and corporate compliance manager. Prior to joining Town North Bank, Sciortino was the compliance officer for six years for GE Money–Americans and Dillard National Bank in Phoenix, Arizona.  She has held compliance positions in various financial institutions in the New Orleans area.  She has a strong compliance and operations background in both the card payment and banking industries.  A graduate of the University of New Orleans with a degree in Business Administration, Marie received her MBA from the University of Phoenix.  She is a member of the Credit Card Bank Compliance Association. 

Mark Riddell is vice president and planning & analysis manager in the finance department. Riddell has ten years of experience in financial analysis most recently with Atmos Energy Corporation.  He is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a degree in Business Administration; he holds a Masters in Accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas; and he is a Certified Public Accountant.

Cheryl Cicero is assistant vice president and data analyst in the marketing department. She is responsible for sales tracking, customer database management and is marketing liaison to the bank sales manager.   Cicero joins the bank with 15 years of banking and data analysis experience.  She is a graduate of the University of North Texas with a degree in Marketing.

OJ Padilla is promoted to vice president in the mortgage warehouse department which he helped establish in 2004. He supervises the daily operations of the department. Padilla is a career banker working in deposit and loan operations for numerous banking organizations.  For five years he worked for a mortgage company supervising collections and loan documentation. Padilla attended the University of Texas, Dallas majoring in accounting.

Chris Suarez joined the bank in 2007 as the BSA officer and is promoted to assistant vice president in the compliance department.  A graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas, Suarez holds his Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager certification.

Randolph Potts is promoted to information security officer in the IT department.  Potts is responsible for information security and is instrumental in compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards.  A graduate of the University of Texas with a degree in electrical engineering, Potts is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional and a Microsoft Certified Professional.
